Royal NIVRA The Netherlands’ main professional accounting and external auditing organization. The Registeraccountant is the Dutch equivalent of the * Certified Public Accountant, and the institute (commonly referred to as Royal NIVRA) was established in 1967 through the merger of pre-existing accounting institutes. Headquartered in Amsterdam, Royal Nivra had approximately 13,000 members in 2003.
