Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants
CAPA A regional accounting organization, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formed in 1976, CAPAs membership comprises national accounting organizations in the Asia and Pacific region. In 2003, CPA had over 30 members. The confederation’s Web site describes its mission to be the providing of "leadership in the development, enhancement and coordination of the accountancy profession" in its region. Its activities include publications, conferences, and promoting research and education in accounting and auditing. Web site: www.capa.com.my
